Welcome to Our Bone Earth, this is my first blog, but it certainly won’t be my last.
Over the coming days and weeks, I’ll be telling my story of how I went from being a Catholic to beginning to follow the old ways as a Pagan. From the research I’ve done and the people I’ve spoken to, this transition isn’t all together unique, in fact, nearly everyone I have spoken to, who now considers themselves Pagan, has pivoted from Catholicism.
My journey to Paganism has only manifested itself recently, however, my journey of understanding who I am, what I believe and what is important to me, began a long, long time ago.
I hope that you’ll join me in my telling of my own story, hoping that it resonates in some way with yours, and I hope that you will find the content of my blogs interesting enough to want to interact with my posts on Pagan life in the modern era, the poetry I write, and the story of others I meet along the path under the canopy of the tree of life.
Our Bone Earth was born through my connection to the earth upon which we all stand and within which we all inevitably return, the universe that surrounds us and the elements that bind us.
We are all connected and I hope to become a source of light for you in our ever darkening world.
May your kin keep the fires lit.
